Having begun my career as a jeweler in Ireland – making sterling silver pieces inspired by the nature of the Irish countryside – I found myself drawn to pastries and cooking. I worked for over a decade as a pastry chef at some of Los Angeles’s premier restaurants, eventually transitioning into restaurant and catering consulting. A few years ago, I began dabbling in jewelry again and combined my two passions by crafting miniature chef’s knives out of sterling silver and ebony. They were an instant hit with my friends and colleagues.


After requests for knife pendants started coming in from friends – and enthusiastic strangers! – I returned to my jeweler’s desk and developed a range of tiny knives based on some of the most interesting knives in professional and home kitchens around the world!
